Kakarlapudi Payaka
Kakarlapudi Payaka constructed a fort in Anakapalle and in front of that constructed Bhogalingeswara temple. They also constructed a temple to their tutelary deity, which in course of time became Nukalamma temple.

Sultan Abdullah Kutub Shahi
Sultan Abdullah Kutub Shahi of Golconda gave permission to Dutch to build a port and trading centre.

Dutch
Dutch landed in Bhimili. Built a fort and bungalows near Port.

Thomas Bhouri
They made Visakhapatnam their permanent residence. Thomas Bhouri of East India Comapany came to this place on business and constructed a Factory.

Aurangazeb
Aurangazeb expanded his kingdom upto Visakhapatnam after defeating Abul Hasan Tanisha of Golconda.

Britishers Built a Fort
Britishers built a fort in Vizag here by obtaining a Farmana from the Moghul Emperor.

Col. Seer Lascar
Jayasimha-I constructed a village by name Sarva Siddhi in this province.

Madhava Varma Dynasty
1724
Deccan Subedar
Vijayarama Raju, successor of Madhava Varma Dynasty built Fort in Vizianagaram. Foundation stone was laid on VijayaDasami.
After the demise of Aurangazeb, the Deccan Subedar occupied Chikakol.

Waltair area
Waltair area was occupied by the washermen (Rajakas).

Visakhapatnam under lease
British have taken Visakhapatnam area from Muslims on lease for an amount of Rs. 4862. They were making Salt, Wine, Addaku, Tobbacco and Kitchen Utensils.

Garden House
A Garden House was constructed to the west of the Fort of Visakhapatnam where Mango Gardens existed.(Presently known as Daba Gardens).

John Stratton
Commander of British Army John Stratton came to Visakhapatnam and constructed Bastions (Burju) in Visakhapatnam.

Civil Court
First Civil Court was established.

Cyclone hit
Cyclone hit the City. 14 ships have been drowned.

Circar Districts
Circar Districts from Guntur to Ganjam were given to French by Salabat Jung for Bussiness purpose.

Bucci
French General Bucci took over the power from Salabat Jung (Subedar).

Fouzdar Zaffar Ali
Chikkakol(Present Srikakulam) Fouzdar Zaffar Ali did not agree and fought Bucci's envoy M Moracin with the help of Nagapur Marathas and and was defeated.

Vijayarama Raju
Bucci came to Circars. Vizianagaram's Vijayarama Raju welcomed him.

Bobbili Yuddham between Bobbili and Vizianagaram took place.

Thandrapaparayudu
After three days Vijayarama Raju was killed by Thandrapaparayudu.

Bucci came to Visakhapatnam with 6000 cavelry and 20 canons.

British flag raised
Early in the year Bucci shifted to Hyderabad. The British flag was raised on the French Head Quarters at Visakhapatnam by Payaka Rao.

20th October
Robert Clive sent Colnel Ford to Visakhapatnam to drive away French from this area. Col Ford landed in Visakhapatnam with 2000 soldiers, artellary and 100 lascars.

Col. Ford and army met Anandagajapathi Raju at Kasimkota.

Col. Ford entered into a treaty with Ananda Gajapathi Raju.

British along with Vizianagaram army fought with French at Rajahmundry and defeated them ending the French presence in Circars.

Vijayarama Raju
Vijayarama Raju ruled after Ananda Gajapathi Raju.

Vizianagaram places
Parlakimidi, Ganjam, Chikakol, Visakhapatnam, Kasimkota and Rajahmundry came under the rule of Vizianagaram.

Robert Clive
Robert Clive was issued a Farmana by Moghul Badshah delivering the 5 Cicar districts to British.
1766
Salbat Jung and Kandregula Jogi Pantulu
With the help of Salbat Jung and Kandregula Jogi Pantulu the 5 Circar districts were handed over to British on payment of Rs.9 lakhs.

John Andrews
Visakhapatnam was made the Head Quarters of the District and John Andrews was made the Chief Councellor.

First Sepoy Mutiny against the British in India.

Under the leadership of Sheik Mohammad, the sepoys refused to go to Madras to fight against the mutiny of Hyder Ali in Mysore and revolted against the Britsh. General Casmajor was held captive for 24 hrs. British Officer Ensign Buttler fought against the sepoys and released the General.

China Vijayarama Raju
British has removed Vizianagaram Diwan Seetharama Raju. China Vijayarama Raju took over the reins of Vizianagaram.

Army
British ordered Vizianagaram to reduce its army which was refused by the King.
1793
13th June
Under Board of Revenue Order, British has ordered Lt Col Prendergast to take over Vizianagaram Fort.

2nd August
Vizianagaram Fort was occupied forcebly.
1794
Padmanabham
China Vijayarama Raju was given a salary of Rs.1200 and Rs. 30,000 towards expenses and was ordered to leave the place. The King refused and went Padmanabham.
1794
10th July
China Vijayarama Raju started building the army. British on hearing this, attacked China Vijayarama Raju in the early morning at Padmanabham. War ended in 45 minutes and China Vijayarama Raju along with many supporters died. British lost 13 officers.
